Celebrating our Belsize Park community!

We are so happy to be celebrating the survival of the library and the re-opening of your Belsize Park post office! Campaigned for by you (and Sir Derek Jacobi & Helena Bonham Carter amongst others!) for 8 years, it has been a great success!!

Also it was this time last year that Belsize Library re opened as a community led library. It has since been run by volunteers under the Winch project. At the same time, our Post Office celebrates its 1st Birthday! The Post Office Ltd kindly contributed £150 towards their new summer reading scheme.

The library’s own group Rhyme Time – a toddler and mother group came along to celebrate with us! So too did the Belsize Community Library Committee and Councillor Tulip Siddiq.  In the evening at 6pm we celebrated with bubbly and nibbles!

We hope that this wonderful community spirit continues to flourish!
