Fair Trade

Even kids cry “That’s Not Fair !” Life is tough :
They sense injustice from an early age.
We, having mellowed to a riper stage,
Seal Fair Deals with “Fair’s Fair” or “Fair Enough”.
That’s what Fair Trade’s about : you our dear buyers
Deserve keen prices that will make you smile
At our good food — but we must reconcile
Your interests with the needs of our suppliers
Whose toil some people oftentimes forget,
Not thinking comfort has its cost : the sweat
Of those who want a modicum of ease,
Schools for their children, health for their families.
We hope you’ll back us as to them we say
“A Fair Day’s Work Deserves A Fair Day’s Pay !”
