During the spate of countrywide post office closures all three of the existing post offices in Belsize Park closed down, forcing the community to travel to neighbouring post offices in Camden and Hampstead.
Lead by Sir Derek Jacobi & Helena Bonham Carter amongst others, the Belsize community campaigned for 8 years to ‘Bring Back the Post Office’. We joined the campaign and with everyone’s support we opened our post office in October 2010 to much applause and excitement. We have since been busy and have grown from a ‘local’ small Post Office to a Main branch Post Office!
Our post office is very much part of our community. As well as sending letters and lovely good old-fashioned parcels you can also pick up your Euros, renew your car tax, and make use of a whole host of other services! We also have a good range of savings account, so why not pop in and speak to the post office team. Oh and whilst in the store you can conveniently do your grocery shopping – it’s one of the ways in which we love serving our community.
We are open from 7am until 10pm (Monday to Saturday) and from 12pm until 6pm on Sundays.
Feel free to contact our post office team directly on 020 7431 6985 if you have any post office related queries.
